An excellent website with extensive information related to all areas of children's mental health.

The Depression Experience Journal contains narratives from children with depression who have been treated at Children's Hospital Boston and their parents and clinicians. The narratives describe what it is like to live and cope with child and adolescent depression, in the form of written stories, quotes, poems and video clips. The websites take the experiences and make them accessible, via computer, to families who may be facing similar issues.

Visions for Tomorrow is an educational course for parents and other caregivers of children who have been diagnosed with a mental illness, as well as those who exhibit behavior that strongly suggests such a diagnosis. The Visions curriculum balances educational materials and skills training with
self-care, emotional support and empowerment.  There is no charge for this course.

The Mood & Anxiety Disorder Institute Resource Center (MADI), was established in connection with the Psychiatry Department at Massachusetts General Hospital. The MADI Resource Center educates patients, families, caregivers, and the community about depression, anxiety, and bipolar (manic-depressive) disorder. They offer a free Spring Seminar Series, beginning in March, on Mental Health and Wellness.
